Impatiens puberula DC. :  White ??

Very interesting pictures – everything looks like in I. puberula apart colour…
I think we could safely determine this plant as white form of I. puberula.
Congratulations!

Thank you …! Any variation name like alba or something?

I don’t remember seeing such white form, and literature dealing with this species is limited.
For my curiosity, it was one plant or whole group?

It was only one I have seen at that time. I shall check in the next season and let you know.

Congratulations!

Was it one white flowered plant amongst othere blue or violet? Or bigger group of white flowered plants?

Only one plant at that location which bears pure white flowers only.
It was in August last year I shot at the same location. That is the only plant this year as well.

chance meeting up with a rare color then. wonder what happened to self seeding of these plants ?

I suppose there could be at least some white flowered plants.

Thank you … May be I can try next season and look for more plants.

Impatiens 2 from Sikkim for identifcation:: NS Sept 03 : 3 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (4).
Please provide your valuable inputs regarding id of this Impatiens shot en route Pelling from Kalimpong..

I tryed my best, but was unable to identify this species.

I checked it with Flora of Bhutan, where good illustrations of flowers were published for some species, with Flora of India and found nothing similar enough.
Maybe someone working in Sikkim could be able to resolve this mystery?

Also some more information about plant could be helpful.

Thanks for the efforts Sir.. I may request … to share some more views of the same..

Here are two pics of the same received from … Attachments (2).
