May I request you to provide the differences between these two species (and keys). Sir flowers are nearly similar in Swertia alata and Swertia nervosa. Basic difference is leaf sessile and base cordate in S. alata and leaf petiolate and base cuneate in S. nervosa, apart from other micro morphological characteristics. Do you consider the posted lower leaves as petiolate with cuneate base? |
