Branched herbs, stem white wooly. Leaves 4-5 x 0.7 cm, oblong, apex acute, base amplexicaule. Heads 4 x 4 mm, in densely branched corymbose cymes; bracts 3-seriate, 3-4 mm long, elliptic, acute, dentate at apex; brown at lower part; outer ones wooly. Bisexual flowers 5-7, central; corolla 2.5 mm long, white, 5-toothed at apex. Achenes 1 mm long, cylindrical, scaly, brown. Flowering and fruiting: September-March
