Flemingia lineata (L.) Aiton is a small shrub and rare in Pantnagar area. Unlike other Flemingia species it flowers during winter season.
This species is not represented in eFI.

But the one found in Maharashtra-Central India is observed with soft hairs on leaves(which is not there in the photographs attached). So, I would request kindly check once accordingly.


Thank you … I have not seen soft hairs on this species whenever I collected it.
Flora of China mention these hair as deciduous; could it be the case here (?) or the variation within a species. Or it may be a varietal difference; I do not know. However, I am sure about the identity of species based on its description in Flora of Upper Gangetic Plains (Duthie 1903-29), Flora of China and images available at Kew site.
If not F. lineata it requires a better ID; may be you have some suggestion.
