I think Cyperus arenarius

It is Cyperus pachyrhizus Nees ex Boeckeler, found along the sandy seashores. Some times treated as a subspecies as Cyperus conglomerates subsp. pachyrhizus (Nees ex Boeckeler) T. Koyama

I wish to endorse …. C.pachyrhizus because of thick roots…
