Shrubs; branchlets densely hirtus. Leaves to 9 x 5 cm, ovate, acute at either ends, densely scabrous, crenate, nerves 7-8 pairs; petiole 3 cm long. Spikes 1.5-2 cm long, ovoid, 5-8-together on short lateral branches; bracts 8 x 4 mm, obovate, densely hirtus; bracteoles linear, hirtus. Flowers few; calyx lobes 9 mm long, linear, united above the base, densely hairy; corolla 17 mm long, glabrous, blue or white; filaments paired, united into two sheaths; style hairy. Capsule 10 mm long, glabrous; seeds 4 x 3 mm, oblong, brown. Flowering and fruiting: April-May

… has validated this ID.. I think this is probably Strobilanthes urceolaris but I have not seen pictures of it before
