No this is native guy, Torenia concolor. Originally described from Hong Kong.

Thanks a lot for sharing.

Torenia concolor Lindl.  Thank you …

Though … may be right.
But surprisingly it appears very close to images of Torenia asiatica L.

From Flora of China:
Corolla 1.5-2.5 cm, exceeding calyx by 0.4-1 cm; filament appendage 1-2 mm ………. Torenia asiatica
Corolla 2.5-3.9 cm, exceeding calyx by 1.1-2.1 cm; filament appendage 2-4 mm ……. Torenia concolor
Flowers are bigger in concolor. But cant make out from these pics.

yes

i forgot to include this quote from … write up. so my reply really is yes to: But cant make out from these pics.

ie agree with sentiments/opinnion of … we have a dilemma in such cases where no scale of any kind is includes. i find that in flower shows where the guards frown upon rulers etc. just my finger nail or a pen that will not be lost in transit and can later be measured is very useful
… this a lesson for all of us.

gee gosh. finally then we stay with Torenia sp. not further classifiable …

there is a finger in one of the picture, but unfortunately not enough is seen to be able to reliably measure section or nail.

I depend on you guys.
