Leaves: Opposite, lanceolate, acute, 15mm x 4mm minutely mucronate, in whorl with opposite spines. Spines pointed.
Flowers: Solitary, calyx 5 lobes, corolla : pink
Fruits: Deeply 5 lobed

Should be Fagonia schweinfurthii, as most leaves are trifoliate, spines shorter.
