Seems to be Triumfetta rhomboidea

Triumfetta rhomboidea Jacq. (Key- Stamen 10as compared to 5 in Triumfetta pentandra A.Rich.as per efi thread)
Both species look very similar otherwise including fruits.

Since the flowers were not available at the time of the sampling, it seems difficult to distinguish between the species, unless there are some other characteristics which can help distinguish between the species.

Yes !

Depends upon no. of stamen.

Triumfetta rhomboidea !

Agreed with …, but close pentandra too,

No. of stamens will decide between the two.

Thanks … There were hardly any open flowers.

I will try to find it if I revisit the place.
