This is either B. angulosa or B. concinna difficult to say without looking at a whole plant. Berberis angulosa : Flowers solitary. Pedicels pendulous, 3-5 mm, pubescent; bracteoles ovate, ca. 3.5 × 2 mm, apex acuminate. Sepals in 2 whorls; Berberis concinna : Flowers solitary. Pedicels 1.5-2 cm; bractlets red, oblong-triangular, 2-2.5 × 1.5-2 mm. Sepals in 3 whorls; According to efloranepal keys I guess it is close to Berberis angulosa. Thanks, Saroj ji, for using the keys. But I can not see any of the features mentioned in the keys except for the solitary flower. Actually image quality is not good. However, I feel pedicel is as long as B. concinna. But I may be wrong as it is not visible. |
