Syn. Sansevieria bequaertii De Wild.
Jijamata Udyan, Feb. ’11.
Leaf surface was smooth; Transverse (light and dark) bands present.
identification based on FOI database; our group database search did not yield any result.
Kindly confirm / correct.

Beautiful details. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Interestingly Sansevieria are also called, mother-in-law’s tongue and devil’s tongue, I imagine what’s common between those names :)).

I think this should be Sansevieria trifasciata Prain and not Sansevieria parva N.E.Br. as per images and details herein and as per comparative images at Sansevieria

On further checking, I found it to be more closer to Sansevieria hyacinthoides as per

Requesting to please ID this Sansevieria captured in Jijamata Udyan, Mumbai in January 2014.

S.roxburghiana…?

Thanks … for your feedback. However, the leaves do not seem cylindrical..

Is this S.trifasciata only?

Sansevieria trifasciata for sure. There are many cultivated varieties of different forms/ colours

Since you are validating Sansevieria Species, I’m adding one seen in Tsavo West, Kenya.
This was taken in Jan, 2009.
Missed posting it earlier.

Can not say. There are so many species over there.

Try with something like Sansevieria hyacinthoides

Looks very close to my pictures. Especially the leaves.
