Plant habit: parasite shrub, pendulous branches, semi hard cylindrical stem 01cm diameter, rough brownish bark, perennial
Host tree: Terminalia sps.
Height: 02 feet
Leaves: opposite elliptic acute soft leathery smooth wavy, size upto: 08×5cm
Flower: axillary buds, size:03.5x5mm, purplish, non fragrant
Fruit: berry green into purple globular, diameter: 08mm

Yes, it is Macrosolen pseudopsilantha, thank you very much for ID my plant. But one dissimilarity while googling shows multiple flower buds in one auxil. Where as my plant have only one flower bud in auxil.


I check all species of Macrosolen and Elytranthe listed in Flora of Peninsular India.
Others are not matching.
But the single flower in axil is creating a doubt as per description in Flowers of India (which seems to have been taken from Flora of India volume 23, 2012)
