Herb with pink-red stem at Dholavira, Gujrat 14Dec, 2011 Isnt that Boerhavia? Boerhavia diffusa You please upload the habit picture atleast with a leaf for confirmation the ID. B. diffusa or B. chinensis. Yes picture of Habit is required to find whether B. diffusa or B. chinensis. I think close to images at Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. rather than those at Boerhavia diffusa L. It should be Commicarpus boissieri as per discussions and references at Spotted at Rao Jodha park, Jodhpur 1
Boerhavia verticillata: I’d confirm : 5 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (2)- 2 mb and 3 mb.
Boerhavia verticillata
Attachments (2)- 3 mb and 3 mb.
I think more closer to images at Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. compared to those at Commicarpus helenae (J. A. Schult.) Meikle (syn: Boerhavia verticillata Poir.) Without the examination of flowers and fruits it is difficult to arrive at the correct ID Flowers and there arrangements are visible in one of the images. It should be Commicarpus boissieri as per discussions and references at Spotted at Rao Jodha park, Jodhpur 1 ઓરલો ગોરલો. મોટો વસેડો

It should be Commicarpus boissieri as per discussions and references at Spotted at Rao Jodha park, Jodhpur 1 and as per your other post at Boerhavia verticillata: I’d confirm ઉભી સાટોડી..વસેડો

¿ Mollugo pentaphylla ?
Dear friends, I think the plant is Mollugo pentaphylla; please help validate. The leaves in the photos, I think, belong to another plant growing in same space.
Looks something else. Thanks …, you are correct about this plant not being Mollugo.
One of my flickr contacts suggested Commicarpus verticillatus (Poir.) Standl.
Hoping this ID gets validated.
not Mollugo
I was going to suggest Commicarpus Species.
Thanks … for suggesting / validating the ID to genus.
Yes. Appears so as per
Appears close to Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. as per comparative images at Commicarpus
Thanks very much, … for the ID.
Yes it does appear to be Commicarpus chinensis.
Will label my pictures in flickr accordingly.
Looks like the name Boerhavia chinensis (L.) Rottb. has regained acceptance, at least looks so in The Plants List, and Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. is now considered as its synonym. Please validate.
As per your given link, ‘The record derives from WCSP (in review) (data supplied on 2012-03-23).’
So it is better to reply on Catalogue of life.
Thank you very much, … Will go by Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. It should be Commicarpus boissieri as per discussions and references at Spotted at Rao Jodha park, Jodhpur 1
Spotted at Rao Jodha park, Jodhpur 1 : 8 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (2) – 2 mb and 578 kb. Boerhavia sp. ?? Boerhavia repens ?? Yes it’s …, I too agree with you This should be Commicarpus chinensis (L.) Heim. as per images and details herein. Sorry …, It’s not Commicarpus chinensis, because of there are no long exserted stamens, in chinensis stamens exerted or longer than the petals, Thanks, … Yes, I agree with you.
Boerhavia repens does not have distribution in India as per latest updates at Boerhavia
It should be Commicarpus boissieri as per
