I guess it is not matching
Thanks, … If so, pl. check other species at /species/m—z/s/sapotaceae/manilkara
To me also look different from images at Manilkara roxburghiana
Sorry to say, this is not Manilkara roxburghiana, and is probably not Sapotaceae. (It’s difficult to see the flower structure and the leaf arrangement in the pictures to say for certain which family this is… but it does not look like Sapotaceae.)
it is Pittosporum napaulense (DC.) Rehder & Wilson
Taking it as Pittosporum densiflorum Putt. as per discussions at Regarding identification of the Sp. collected from Kandhamal Odisha on July 2023
it looks like Pittosporum nepaulens only
Taxonomy of Pittosporum wightii A.K.Mukh./ Pittosporum floribundum Wight & Arn. seems confusing.
Thank you , I will make corrections in my collection.
Date: 16 Dec 2012
Seems to be Pittosporum sp. of Pittosporaceae? Does it have pugent smell in their leaves?
Could this be Pittosporum dasycaulon?
Pl. confirm or otherwise.
It is also reported from Theni district as per details at Pittosporum
Pittosporum dasycaulon, to me too.
Yes, you are right … This must be Pittosporum napaulense… the fruits are on branched inflorescence. I was wrong in this post earlier.
