Asteraceae Fortnight Part 1-Radiate head: Anaphalis contorta from Kashmit-GS13 : Attachments (2).  1 post by 1 author. Anaphalis contorta (D. Don) Hook.f., Fl. Brit. Ind. 3: 284. 1881;
Photographed from Gulmarg and Khillenmarg in Kashmir

To me it appears more closer to images at Anaphalis busua (Buch.-Ham.) DC. rather than at other images at Anaphalis contorta (D.Don) Hook.f.
Pl. confirm or otherwise.

Many thanks for sharing these images. Anaphalis busua has winged stem. Hence I tend place the 1st picture under A. contorta. Of course it is quite variable. Second picture looks like A. royleana to me.
