Photos taken at a small hill near Chamarajanagara, Karnataka on 10.9.12. Growing in rocky hills. It was overhanging from a thorny bush. No leaves were found. ID confirmation requested. Background thorny shrub may also be identified. It should be Ceropegia juncea, a leafless (small leaves seen on young branches) twiner with tuberous roots. Ceropegia juncea Roxb.
