Begonia sp.

Several more features are required to ascertain species ID, … These are the species found in Karnataka.

Begonia species in efi

This has been listed as Begonia trichocarpa in efi.

Is it correct ?

Thanks, …, Id was provided by  in the post at 95-TSP-ID-09SEP2016-01:Images of Begonia sp @ Bababudangiri for ID

I am not sure as there are hardly any images on the net except for a few specimens at GBIF.

Will it be Begonia trichocarpa ?

According to the FoI it does not look like Begonia trichocarpa !

I think the dentate leaves and glabrous capsules are a better match for B. subpeltata

POWO ???
