Dear distinguished Scientist (s) / Researchers and all concerned
It is to bring to your kind notice that Botanical Survey of India ERC Shillong is organizing a two day National Seminar ( 8-9th March, 2018) on “‘Himalayan Plant Diversity: Taxonomy, Conservation and Sustainable Utilization’” at Shillong in collaboration with the EHSST and North Hill University.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I take the opportunity to beseech for your active participation. You may contribute with your recent research findings in form of Abstracts and/or oral/poster presentations. The seminar brochure is attached herewith.
Himalayan Plant Diversity not only encompasses flowering plants but also includes Algae, Fungi, Bryophytes, Lichen, Pteridophytes and Gymnosperm. So contribution from all the mentioned disciplines shall also find appropriate place.
Please include this date in your curriculum and also circulate the same as much as possible.
