Another Pine tree seen in Fremont on 28th Sept,14 with smaller green cones.
Growing by the roadside. 

is the first pic lopsided?
i.e. is it a large branch on the top of the picture or the tree trunk?
makes a big difference


As far as I can remember, it is one of the lower branches.
It was a large tree.


Pl. go through some of the Pinus species posted by …, from California.
You will get some matches.

So I can’t say for sure whether it was planted or not.
