Greetings from the Pune Knowledge Cluster.

The Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) is a Science and Technology enabling organization established by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. PKC brings together academia, industry, NGOs, government and citizens to solve problems of the region and community leveraging science, technology and innovation.

PKC is organizing a first-of-its-kind international Citizen Science Conclave on 5th and 6th July 2025 in Pune. The conclave aims to bring together communities, researchers, and innovators who are committed to building and promoting citizen science initiatives. The event intends to showcase global citizen science projects, facilitate collaborations, and enable the development of new citizen science endeavors.

The 1.5-day event will be conducted in a Hybrid mode, with participants from India attending in-person. A tentative schedule is given below:

  • Day 1 – Full day – 5th July: Convening of individuals and organizations working on citizen science initiatives
  • Day 2 – Half Day – 6th July: Public showcase of citizen science initiatives (physical event open to citizens)

We wish to invite you as a speaker for this event on 5th July 2025. We will be happy to support your local logistics for the event, including stay, food, and local transport. A detailed concept note for the event is attached for your reference. If you/your organization wishes to participate in the citizen exhibition on 6th July, please let us know.
