I was not able to contribute to this fortnight due to paucity of time.

This upload of mine is interesting as it is Daphne tagutica Maxim. (=Daphne retusa Hemsl.) (Thymelaeaceae) as identified by me. However, it is very different from the Daphne retusa as available in eFI database. I believe D. retusa in eFI is probably a species of Cotoneaster and need a re look. If eFI plant is not D. retusa it is another addition to eFI which we actually need to increase number of species in our database.

As per GRIN & FOC, Daphne tagutica Maxim. & Daphne retusa Hemsl. are separate species.
Daphne tagutica Maxim. is not found in India as per them.

Yes …, The Plant List 2013 is misleading in this case and indicate these as synonyms.
Here it should be taken as Daphne retusa Hemsl. with which it matches well and the species is known already from Uttarakhand.

I think Daphne tangutica Maxim. and Daphne retusa Hemsl. are different as per POWO links.
Pl. check and correct.
