Dioscorea? Any one of the following ?
This is Dioscorea pentaphylla. Please see attached photograph taken by me. Confused about the elevation.
I mean to say my images were recorded at an altitude of 6800 ft. wherea efn says 600-1500 m. Dear sir the species of Dioscorea are well adapted. Their occurrences are very wide. They are distributed from sea level to an altitude of
more than 1500 m above sea level, and ranging from moist soil (swamp) to dry land. Thank you … That means it is possible to occur at around 6800 ft.
I think it is possible.
You can also check with
I think more closer to images at Dioscorea kamoonensis compared to those at Dioscorea pentaphylla
I was also with this opinion since elevation also matches to it but not
the D. pentaphylla.
I shall take it as Dioscorea kamoonensis.

nice. you already showed us two cases last year, must be your favorite place to climb to. If possible can you get the buliferous masses that develop on the vine later? or is that in winter, ? please don’t climb if dangerous. I shall try.

Love the bulbils. do you ever take one home and cut it open or slice on and do you ever try to take pictures of where th evine is rooted into the ground? It was on a slope beyond reach. oh, ok Pl. also check Dioscorea kamoonensis Kunth as per SK1493 09 Oct 2018 and as per keys in Flora of China:
Unable to decide. Does Dioscorea kamoonensis carry only one bulbil at nodes ? Pl. check as per SK1493 09 Oct 2018 and red and blue characteristics as given in the keys by me.
