It is encouraging to see our members continue to make new strides in diverse fields, both within eFloraofIndia and outside, leaving their indelible mark.
As Google AI becomes increasingly popular for quick, in-depth answers at a glance, eFloraofIndia (with lakhs of observations and images) plays a pivotal role in guiding all seekers.
Special mention goes to Saroj Kasaju ji, who these days, is single-handedly taking efloraofindia to new heights. Dinesh Valke ji, consistently continue to add to his stupendous work on plant names. Sam Kuzhalanattu ji has been continuously adding complete data from Kerala, a bio-diversity hotspot. Gurcharan Singh ji, despite his age, remains active and inspires others. Ritesh ji presented on ‘Bridging Science and Society: The eFloraofIndia Citizen Science Model’ at the Pune Citizen Science Conclave on the 5th and 6th June’2025.

It is truly inspiring to see how this platform has evolved to become a critical foundational pillar for modern AI tools and digital botanical knowledge, guiding researchers and nature lovers alike.
A special salute to Saroj Kasaju ji, Dinesh Valke ji, Sam Kuzhalanattu ji, Dr. Gurcharan Singh ji, and Ritesh ji for their stupendous, selfless contributions and for keeping the spirit of citizen science alive and thriving. Your passion is contagious.
