… pics 🙂 Yes this is native but planted at many places in hk. Right in central along road sides and dividers. Very beautiful tree when loaded with flowers.

I have seen the fruits. Never checked the seeds.

Appears to be some Mangrove species.


It was on dry land at Fuel station !


I think this is a mangrove tree. May be Bruguiera parviflora. I am not sure.


I also tried but failed to get the id.


Could it be a species of  Avicennia sps (Avicennia alba ???)
