Flowering Plants of Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore : 3 posts by 3 authors. I studied in IISC more than 25 years back, but gives immense pleasure to walk along the trees now, which I didn’t appreciate at that time. Constructions have definitely taken a toll on the campus, but still has a huge collection. There are two volumes of field guide published with nice pictures: This has some sample pictures: http://www.ces.iisc.ernet.in/energy/lake2008/program/Lake2008_Presentations/Insd_IISC_Plants_Campus.pdf Another institution (IIT, Madras) where I studied for which I don’t have time now to go and explore. At least here I have covered remote places to see Birds, but only marginally appreciated the Trees. I don’t know why they don’t have book about the floral species in IIT Madras. Thanks … for sharing the links and info..I had seen IIT Madras Campus and its really beautiful… |
