Galactia tenuiflora

.

Species with a wide pantropical distribution.
Galactia tenuiflora is a perennial climbing herb which occurs in a vast range of habitats, from temperate, swamp to rain forest, mangroves, savannas, scrubs, hillsides and anthropic landscapes, described from dry to humid climate. In Australia it has been reported to grow mostly on coastal headlands along coast or in sclerophyll forest.

Fabaceae twiner for identification :: 010914MK03 : 4 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (4).
Please help me to identify this twiner of Fabaceae. I found this in a scrub forest in one of the coastal districts. I have also seen this in Tiruvallur dist. of TN (70 km off Chennai).
Location: an RF in Villupuram dist., TN
Alt.: 40 M ASL
Habitat: scrub forest, under growth
Date: 26 Aug 2014

It may be Galactia tenuiflora

Galactia villosa, I guess.

Kindly help me to identify this Fabaceae climber. I saw this in the bushes of scrub forest. What could this climber be?

The climbers may be belonging to Fabaceae, the genus Galactia volubilis


I think it should be Galactia tenuiflora (Willd.) Wight & Arn. as per images herein.

Yes, it is Galactia striata var. villosa.
