Procumbent herbs, rooting at lower nodes; stems glabrous. Leaves ovate, acuminate, sparsely villous; nerves 7-9 pairs; petiole 3 cm long, hairy. Cymes 3-5 cm across, terminal; branches glabrous, slender. Flowers 5-6 mm long, blue or pink, subsessile; calyx lobes ovate, ciliate; corolla tube slender, shortly villous inside, lobes ovate, villous.
Flowering and fruiting: October-November

No, it is very close to Neanotis tubulosa.
See the thorn-like structures on the buds and outside of the corolla.
But please replace the ID#629 to another head because of two different habits. And please check the collage, plant in left were growing in non shady grass land with an altitude of 1500fsl only, whereas right growing in shola forest, very difficult to find out with micro flower than left in an altitude of 7200fsl.

Yes …, I think Neanotis decipiens (Hook.f.) W.H.Lewis looks to be a better ID, especially because the posted plant is more prostate than an erect upright herb.
