I think its better to post pics of open flower unless he has already seen the flowers in past. Same sp. identified earlier from the same location. I shall try to visit the location once again if I can find some flowering! SK1350 04 AUG 2018 Cant confirm. The spur is different from Peristylus aristatus. Leaves are also not clustered together but can be just due to the habitat. Could this be the same Peristylus calcaratus (Rolfe) S.Y.Hu as https://groups.google.com/g/indiantreepix/c/ujJjfN6E5Ps/m/h9PC4GbiDgAJ, since the location, elevation and the phenology is matching. Cant confirm with these pics. The pics on the other link I think I did identify ultimately as Peristylus aristatus based on the morphology of spur. The spur is not the only character though so it is not possible to confirm. Peristylus can have more than one species at same site. |
