Please validate this Acanthaceae herb. Locally abundant in the plains of eastern ghats.

it is Lepidagathis, probably L. scariosa. Nice pictures!
From where did u collect this? Sathyamangalam R.F.? It would be useful to the members if you could mention the exact locality, instead of saying larger areas like ‘plains of eastern ghats’. I have not seen this in the northern parts of eastern ghats in TN.

This herb is found in the scrub jungles near Bhavani sagar Dam.
