Some Sambucus sp.

Thanks, … It matches well with Sambucus canadensis as per details from Indiantreepix Database:

I suppose Sambucus nigra

Mine has nine leaflets. I think Sambucus canadensis only. Also perfectly matches with posts in Indiantreepix Database.
You may like to check Wikipedia links:
“It is a deciduous shrub or small tree growing to 4–6 m (rarely to 10 m) tall. The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs, 10–30 cm long, pinnate with five to seven (rarely nine) leaflets, the leaflets 5–12 cm long and 3–5 cm broad, with a serrated margin. The hermaphrodite flowers are borne in large corymbs 10–25 cm diameter in mid summer, the individual flowers white, 5–6 mm diameter, with five petals; they are pollinated by flies.”

Perhaps you are right.

Defence Colony, Indiranagar, Bangalore

Sambucus canadensis; family: Sambucaceae.  Please check whether this is the synonym of S.nigra. This is an ornamental bush seen in many places in Mysore also.

Can it be this also? The bark has smaller thorn like dots.

Sambucus sp??

Is it cultivated ? If so, it can be Sambucus nigra L. subsp. canadensis (L.) Bolli (pl. click for images).
Also check comparative images of different species so far in efi at Sambucus

The flowers and leaves remind me of Sambucus Species as suggested by …

For me the ID by … is correct. I have seen many plants of this species in Mysore.

Thank you everyone.

Kindly request you to identify with scientific names. This photo has been taken in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya.

Sambucus sp. Check Sambucus adnata.

Did you check with the stated species?

Please check sambucus sp.

I don;t think it is S. adnata, a species which is never more than 2 m tall, a suffrutescent herb. S. adnata looks similar to S. wightiana except for very small stipules

Yes, it appears more closer to images at Sambucus nigra L. subsp. canadensis (L.) Bolli

Id assistance for Darjeeling Himalayan Plant: 2 images.

I need id assistance of the attached plant
Locality: Darjeeling Alubari TN Road
Date of Collection: 7/8/2018
Altitude: 6800 ft
Local Nepalese name: CHINDE

Probably Sambucus canadensis L. !

I hope it is Sambucus canadensis..!!
Must be quite common around

The local name you mentioned is the wrong one. Chindey is a different tree often used to make Chatney and the leaf extract are used for stomach problems infact for Kidney related problems.
Will get back to you once i remember the local name of Sambucus canadensis (only plant species under sambucaceae family found in Darjeeling as far as i know).

I know Chinde is different plant, that is Macropanax undulatum (Araliaceae), but Ward no 7, near Burdwan Palace area 7 local  people called Sambucus Canadensis as “Chinde”. I collected this plant from Ward no 7, that’s why I mentioned here.
Sometimes, same local names are assigned to different species, even taxa under different families.

Another population of Sambucus canadensis is also documented from Alubari TN Road area, they also called it as “Chinde”. Surprisingly Macropanax undulatum tree is located near to it.
It is called Chinde by Smt Bishnupriya Rai of TN Road
