The tiniest flower I have seen… it was about 2mm… difficult to photograph as I have no Macro lens camera..

Habitat: mountain slope
Habit: herb, about 1 m high; flower about 2 – 3 mm across


Rubia or Galium, only close up of flower or leaves well in focus can help.


Could get only one photo cropped to see flower – not much in focus. No views of leaves found.


Won’t be surprised if it turns out to be Galium aparine. I can see hooked hairs on young ovary also.
