My guess is Anthurium … could be hookeri or crassinervium or I could be far from the ID. Please help. The spadix is about 1.5 feet; the large leaf could be about 3 feet long. Will visit the garden once again to get more pictures. Hope this single picture helps in recognizing the ornamental plant.
I have a similar Anthurium posted from Sri Lanka.
Not too sure of the Species.
Anthurium ¿ hookeri ? / ¿ crassinervium ?
The gardener has given me the ID: Anthurium schlechtendalii Kunth
I find it convincing. Pl. also check images and details at Anthurium plowmanii Croat
Thanks …, Posted plant has some similarity to that of Anthurium plowmanii but surely looks quite similar to Anthurium schlechtendalii too – which incidentally is from garden’s checklist.
Let me know you see any aspect particular to Anthurium plowmanii. Thanks, …, As peduncle is longer than spadix, it may be Anthurium schlechtendalii as per exoticrainforest
Also appears to match with other links as below:
I think Anthurium plowmanii Croat This looks like Anthurium crenatum to me after further search.
Adding a picture of the leaf.
Experts kindly give your advice.
Could you Pl. Provide the links which lead to this I’d? http://media.eol.org/content/2013/02/26/05/97158_orig.jpg I do not think it matches with your images. I think this may also be Anthurium schlechtendalii Kunth as per discussions under Anthurium (hookeri / crassinervium) FOR VALIDATION :: Dattaji Salvi Udyan :: 21 APR 18 Thanks … It does look similar.

Saw this ornamental Araceceae in a nursery in Karjat, MH in Dec 2014.
Looks like Xanthasoma sagittifolium. Requested to validate ID. To me it looks different from images at Xanthosoma sagittifolium
Pl. check comparative images at Araceae
Not too sure.
But it is very close to Anthurium plowmanii Croat, suggested by …, that I had earlier posted from Sri Lanka.
Anthurium hookeri To me also it appear close to images of Anthurium plowmanii at
As per Anthurium hookeri link: “Many websites and sellers sell their hybrid specimens as “Anthurium hookerii” (with two i’s) which is not a correct scientific spelling. There are also firms that sell a plant they call “Anthurium hookeri Ruffles”. Scientifically, there is no such species and the common name Anthurium Ruffles is more frequently applied Anthurium plowmanii. Anthurium plowmanii commonly has ruffled edges but is not closely related to Anthurium hookeri. The two species are found thousands of miles apart in nature. There is another tissue cultured plant sold as Anthurium hookeri Marie which is a hybrid and does not appear to be related to Anthurium hookeri. ”
