The species Bidens biternata is distinct from B. pilosa in much smaller number of florets, linear involucre bracts which are ciliate (nearly spathulate and glabrous in B. pilosa)

Leaflet (segment) margin is prominently toothed/serrate, so it should be B. biternata. Also leaves are less divided with large terminal segment. In B. bipinnata leaves are twice to thrice pinnatisect with entire leaflet (segment) margin. Both lack rays or may have up to 5 yellow ones, they are white and prominent in B. pilosa.

On 11/10/09 along roadside in Ananthagiri HIll forest in Rangareddy district of Andhra Pradesh.

This is Bidens pilosa (Asteraceae). Pl. also check it for B. biternata.

Am uploading pictures of Bidens pilosa.

In my search for wild plants, weeds that are also edible, I found that Bidens Pilosa is a pot herb.
I would like to know if anybody has actually used it and more details on its usage.
