Here I’m sending the snaps from Asteraceae member, sorry having only these two snaps, photo credit – … I’m confused between two genus Synedrella and Sclerocarpus, upto my observations it much closer to Sclerocarpus sp.
Height of the plant is about 1.5 feet long n having only one inflorescence on plant.
Photographed at Pune (Sept 2012).

Mostly it look like Sclerocarpus sp…

Yes it is S. africanuas. some time common in dryer areas of marathwada, Vidarbha.

Sclerocarpus sp. Near Sinhgad Pune.31/08/2012 SMP1:  2 images.

I had observed this species from Asteraceae family. I think this is one is same what … had posted recently. The angle of photograph is also similar.
I think this has to be Sclerocarpus sp. Pl. validate.
Herb about less than a foot high. Leaves 4-5 cm. Flowers tiny 2-3mm

Also finds its entry in Shrikant ji’s Further Flowers of Sahyadri.

I think it’s– Synedrella nodiflora (Asteraceae) Or Cinderella Weed.
Some expert can conform this.

Habit: herb, diffuse-branched from base, about 60 – 80 cm high, under trees
Habitat: mixed deciduous forest
The flower cluster about 10 – 12 mm across. Please note the plant is growing among many others.
Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, a world heritage site, is famous for its rock paintings. The place is known to be one of the most primitive dwellings of human race. All of the rock shelters are located within the territory of Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary.
