Habitat: mountain slope
Habit: erect herb, about a metre high; flower about 5 – 7 cm across
… apologies – less of details and photos … happy to know ID to genus level.

Same case here also. Photo could have been cropped to blow up Cremanthodium only. Associated Boraginaceae member is causing a lot of confusion, to locate leaves.

Attaching cropped photos; I am afraid the photo does not show leaves of the Asteraceae plant.
Will be content to knowing the ID to genus level.

Found this beautiful flower at about 3500m and kept seeing it till the top of the pass at 4300m. It looks like a Cremanthodium species but I am not certain which one, C. nepalense perhaps? Please advise.
