Habit:Herb

Habitat:Evergreen forest among bomboo growth.

Sighting:Kadmane,Sakaleshpur,Karnataka,about 1100 msl

Date:04-11-2016

Please check Vernonia  spp

Appears closer to the images at Lamprachaenium microcephalum Benth.

It should be Acilepis ornata as per revised Id in other threads.

For me  the iD is correct i.e. Acilepis ornata. Please check this website

You are correct …, if the leaves are scabrous (rough hairs) above, it is V. divergens, otherwise it is Vernonia daalzelliana (= Acilepis ornata (Talbot) H.Rob. & Skvarla.)
