Adding pictures of Tabebuia berteroi, commonly known as Hispaniolan Rosy Trumpet Tree, from Muscat, Oman. A common, cultivated tree seen in the gardens here.

very nice. but why so sparse. I thought it fills the sky with pink…

The one that fills the sky with pink is another Tabebuia species.
On this tree, I have not come across flowers in a bunch. They are usually 2 or 3 on a stem at a time.
These flowers fall off by evening, so they don’t stay on the tree for long.
I am unable to explain better.
Some expert would be able to.

It is very difficult to pinpoint the ID in ornamental Tabebuia trees based on a single photograph as there are many inter-specific natural hybrids. One need to check each & every character.

Agree with …

Thanks … I have 2-3 more photographs of the same tree.I have two more images of the same tree,Attaching for the reference.

Thanks …, I think you are right. Another set of herbarium images agree with your view:

Thanks, … I have to correct each others images on FOI and EFI (when ever possible), as lot of persons refer to either of them leading to wrong ids.

Tabebuia heterophylla from Lal Bagh Bangalore for validation-GS06022022-2: 5 very high res. images.
The tree has been labelled at Lal Bagh, Bangalore as Tabebuia roseoalba. It was originally uploaded by Aarti ji in 2013.. It was originally uploaded by … in 2013. … did a lot of research and initially suggested T. heterophylla and finally as T. rosea. Here are my observations which I gave on … post and repeating here and more pictures today to help solve the ID. Photographed by me on 29-9-2015 from Lal Bagh Bangalore.
I think T. rosea is out of reckoning. flowers of T. rosea are typically purple-pink, they can sometimes be nearly white, Perhaps most significant difference is broader and distinctly acuminate leaflets in T. rosea, mostly 5, but sometimes varying from 3-5 and up to 10 inches long, they are comparatively thinner

Tie seems to be between T. roeoalba and T. heterophylla as originally suggested by … Leaflets of T. roseoalba are ovate to ovate lanceolate up to 5 inches long, three in number;
Leaves of T. hetrophylla are 5, but lesser also, and most importantly leaflets are oblong to oblong-obovate, that seems to fit our plant.

Tabebuia pallida is different as per Tree world wholesale  POWO  GBIF  Wikimedia Commons  Flickr  Useful Tropical Plants (Leaves are green, compound with 3 leaflets as per Tree world wholesale)

Correct wordings should be:
I think it should be Tabebuia rosea (Bertol.) Bertero ex A.DC. as per  JCU  Flickr  Hawaii Botany  Useful tropical Plants
Tabebuia roseoalba is different as per Tree world wholesale  POWO  GBIF  Wikimedia Commons  Flickr  Useful Tropical Plants (Leaves are green, compound with 3 leaflets as per Tree world wholesale).

I think T. rosea is out of reckoning. flowers of T. rosea are typically purple-pink , they can sometimes be nearly white,  Perhaps most significant difference is broader and distinctly acuminate leaflets in T. rosea, mostly 5, but sometimes varying from 3-5 and up to 10 inches long, they are comparatively thinner

Tie seems to be between T. roeoalba and T. heterophylla as originally suggested by …. Leaflets of T. roseoalba are ovate to ovate lanceolate up to 5 inches long, three in number;
Leaves of T. hetrophylla are 5, but lesser also, and most importantly leaflets are oblong to oblong-obovate, that seems to fit our plant.

On further considerations, I think … is right.

I am a bit confused.
Take this as Tabebuia heterophylla?
Kindly confirm.
