Observation- Anogeissus sericea sub sp. nummularia is a rare, endemic forest tree of Rajasthan. It is included in Red Data Book of Indian Plants. Rajasthan State Biodiversity Board has taken up initiatives to document such species. Eight critically endangered species of economic value have been identified and forwarded as per Section 38 of Biological Diversity Act 2002, to Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India for notification.

At eFI page of Anogeissus sericea, … pictures of plant at Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park must be Anogeissus sericea var. nummularia.
Here is a link to page in book Conservation Of Threatened Desert Plants By Chandan S. P., Suresh Kumar … it may not be reachable all the time.
Later, we can search for creative commons’ content for better reference.

Frankly, I am not capable of analyzing and commenting from the extracts … here is what I understand after reading through the extracts – I do not see any species of Anogeissus as synonym of Terminalia spp.

Please ignore all lists and take the identity made by Dinesh ji in the original post as correct and legitimate.
If molecular studies are finally shifting Anogeissus and Combretum under Terminalia and sweeping all the species under one umbrella, then we have nothing to say.

I had travelled to Jodhpur, Rajasthan towards the end of March 2018 on a family vacation. I had a chance to visit the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park. It was a pleasurable walk through the park but for the soaring temperatures. Would have loved to spend some more time there.
Will be posting some pics for ID and validation in the coming days.
Attached are pics of of an Anogeissus. They belong to 2 different trees separated from each other by some 100 meters. The last 3 pics belong to a different tree.
Requested to please ID the same. Are they A. sericea (after comparing the shape of the leaves with images in our database)? I initially thought them to be A. acuminata.

Should be A. latifolia. 
I also think first six images are more closer to images at Anogeissus sericea Brandis rather than those of Anogeissus latifolia

I will check.

Perfect match with Anogeissus sericea Brandis var. sericea.
