May be Cyanotis axillaris

This could be Cyanotis fasciculata var. glabrescens..

how to differentiate between Cyanotis axillaris and Cyanotis fasciculata var. glabrescens?

Actually not much difference in flower characters. But differs in their glabrous habit.

Yes … you are right. This is Cyanotis fasciculata var. glabrescens.
In case of this variety ………………. Plant is glabrous and adopted to high altitude habitat, having monocoloured moniliform hairs on the filament and seeds are having striations on it surfaces.
In case of typical variety i.e var. fasciculata ……….. Plant is covered with cobwebby hairs, more succulent habit, occurs in low land even in xeric habitat, filamental hairs are bicoloured and seeds are without any striations on while more pitted.

Cyanotis fasciculata: Section Encyanotis-cymes enclosed in biseriate falcately lanceolate imbricating bracteoles; annual, dwarf, decumbent, floccosely silky or hairy; leaves linear or lanceolate, 2.5-5 cm long; petals rose-purple; capsule oblong
Cyanotis axillaris: section ochreaeflora-flowers axillary in sheaths of leaves, bracteoles small not imbricating;annual, sparsely hairy or glabrous; leaves 5-15 cm long; petals blue

In case of typical variety i.e var. fasciculta …..do the filamental hairs have to be bicolored? or can they be only white?
