I have a query about differentiation between the three species. According to eFlora of Pakistan, eFlora of China and The Plant List, Ipomoea learii Paxton is a synonym of I. indica. I have given differences between I. indica and I. nil. Here are specific differences: Ipomoea indica Ipomoea nil 1. Stems appressed pubescent, sometimes rooting at nodes 1. Stems covered with long spreading hairs. 2. Leaves pubescent with short hairs 2. Leaves with long spreading hairs

Spotted white Ipomoea nil On morning of 26 10 2019 (A member on Indian Flora fb group confirmed having spotted it in Gadchiroli , MH about 4 – 5 years ago) A perfect Diwali gift from Mother Nature. Happy Deepawali to All of You. Nice catch. This is seen in many places in Karnataka/ Mysore Surprising. Never saw a post on it in many fb groups I participate in. . Ipomoea for id confirmation: 4 images. This plant was growing in disturbed ground in Thane district. Photos are from the same spot at different times from September to December, 2017 and 2018.
I had identified it as Ipomoea nil (L.) Roth but not sure if it is the same as Ipomoea hederacea Jacq.
Please confirm Flora of Pakistan gives the following keys:
Flora of Pakistan further says ‘This species (Ipomoea nil (Linn.) Roth) and Ipomoea hederacea Jacq. are very similar. Some authors have switched the names or considered them synonymous. One or both play an important part in the ayurvedic medicines. The seeds are used as a purgative.’
Going by images in POWO 1 and POWO 2 and keys in Flora of Pakistan above, I think it should be Ipomoea nil
