Seeking identity of WANGAN from Rajasthan-14032013GS2 : This is another fruit grown in Rajasthan, used like cucumber and often pickled. Please help in its true identity and any other information.


Cucumis melo var. makuwa now known as C. melo susbsp. agrestris var. conomon


The smaller fruit of cucumis family is locally called Saindh kacharia, and it makes tasty pickle.


Finally resolved as Cucumis melo subsp. melo var. flexuosus
