…,some flowers were pinkish while some were totally white. Posting few more images.
Is the species of white and pink Rhododendron same or is it different ? 4 images.

This seems Rhododendron grande.

It is Rhododendron falconeri (Ericaceae). Pl. take it as confirrmed id. as I already studied. Actually its area of distribution in Darjeeling Himlaya starts from Tonglu and up to Gairibans, Dodhrey-Tonglu Rd, Tumling-Gairibans rd. Now the species is not common at all.

I find it closer to R. grande rather than R. falconeri as per images at the links.
