Eriocaulon pumilio (Eriocaulaceae) from Uttarakhand: Sep. 2017_DSR_05 : 3 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (3) This tiny annual herb was photographed on 3rd September 2017 in our trekking to Ralam- Barjikang Pass in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. It was growing with mosses on moist and steep rock face (2500m approx.). Tired of the tough ascending track after Pilthi Gad (stream) I was not able to focus the image properly. Fortunately, I collected few specimens which are later photographed in Pantnagar. This identity is based on the Flora of Chamoli (Naithani 1984) and the type available in K: However, the opinion of experts is also invited for validation or otherwise.
