It was a small tree (ca 5 m high) growing near the sea-shore…not wild.

Thanks, … Though overall it seems to match with other images at Erythrina crista-galli L., I am worried about the colour of petals in the close up in the last image.

This should be Erythrina fusca Lour. as per Botanical Survey of India, there are 2 species in Andaman and Nicobar Islands (E. fusca and  E. fusca).
