Annual herb,15-45cm.Stems branched,sparsely pubescent to pilose.Leaves oblong to narrowly ovate,2.7-7.5 x 0.8-2.4cm,acute,base cuneate,margin serrate,indumentum as on stem;petiole 0.3-1.2cm.Spikes 1.8-3.5 x 1cm,lanate,hairs often mauve.Bracts broadly ovate,shorter than flowers.Calyx 2.5mm,teeth triangular c 1mm;fruiting calyx up to 7mm.Corolla mauve,3mm.Nutlets oboviod,c 2 x 1.4mm,tuberculate at apex.

Ladakh, August 2022 :: Elsholtzia densa :: ARK2022-150: 2 high res. images.
This was at Nubra, some kms away from Hundar, Ladakh in August 2022.
I think it is Elsholtzia densa. Requested to please validate
