Pogostemon nilagiricus Gamble, Lamiaceae,
wild herb near shola in Nilgiri hills at an altitude of 1500m


Is it the same species discovered after 97 years, as per details below ?:
Rediscovery of Pogostemon nilagiricus (Lamiaceae), a steno-endemic and critically endangered aromatic species R. Murugan*, K. Ravikumar and C. Livingstone – Rheedea Vol. 20 (1) 50-52 2010-
Abstract- Pogostemon nilagiricus Gamble (Lamiaceae) is rediscovered from Nilgiri hills, the type locality, after a gap of 97 years. A detailed description, photograph and note on its taxonomy are provided. Current threat status has also been assessed based on the recent botanical explorations.

It seems the image i posted is the same plant, Thank you for highlighted the importance of this plant with a reference. The place where this observation made is an interior wild hill top shola, as it is mentioned in the paper the herb is associated with Cytisus scoparius (L.) Link, an Asteraceae herb.
