Trop. & Subtrop. Asia (from WCSP);

This small herb was recorded from Kalimpong area..

Please suggest id, even the genus level guess is not accessible to me..

To Add: flowers look like a miniature form of Teucrium quadrifarium ..is this some Teucrium?

Teucrium species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available on net)

Thanks for introducing to a new genus from my own state. ‘Bengal Plants (1903)’ lists only one species – T. stoloniferum Roxb.
Please check description in
In view of … comments, pl. also see:

Floristic Diversity of Assam By Bora, Yogendra Kumar (2003)- Details-
Teucrium stoloniferum Roxb. is a synonym of Teucrium viscidum Blume

To me it appears like Teucrium viscidum var. viscidum as per FOC illustration:

Lamiaceae?

Appears to be a Lamiaceae member.

Yes, I guess so.

From the images I guess it might be Basilicum polystachyon. Pl. get it verified.

Thanks, …, for id assistance.

On perusal of images under threads at Basilicum polystachyon, it looks different.

Yes, not Basilicum polystachyon, the other choice came to my mind was Salvia pleibia, but on carefully seeing the corolla, I see a possiblity of anyTeucrium sp.

Teucrium polium L.   ??
Teucrium tomentosum Lam. ( Syn)
According to the FOI flowering period is not matching and could not verify the elevation.

Thanks, …, for the initial Id.
