Scurrula cordifolia

Leaves alternate, oblong/orbicular-ovate, to 5.5 x 4 cm, whitish, base cordate, apex obtuse; petiole 1.5 cm. Inflorescence a condensed raceme, 5 cm wide, fascicled at nodes of old branches, with 30-40 flowers; bracts ovate. Calyx truncate, 3 mm; teeth obscure. Corolla orange-tawny, 6 mm wide, split down on one side from above the middle; tube 1.5 cm; lobes 4, each 7 mm. Stamens 4. Style 2.3 cm. Fruit clavate, attenuate towards base.

It does not seem to be Loranthus cordifolius Wall. [This species is now called Scurrula cordifolia (Wall.) G.Don]. In this species the ovary is clavate, whereas the ovaries seen here are obconic. Further, in S. cordifolia, the young leaves are clothed with velvety white mealy tomentum. This character is nor evident in the images shown here.
One needs to see the stamens and anthers to confirm the species. It is most probably Scurrula elata (Edgew.) Danser. But this species is confined to sub-Himalayan tracts and not seen in S.India. See the key in Flora of India, vol. 23: 22 – 29 (2012).

Yes, this seems to be Scurrula cordifolia (Wall.) G.Don, matching in leaf-shape and indumentum of young leaves. However, the main character of anthers with or without sterile apices can be the deciding factor, which can be studied only by dissecting live plants.

On searching, my pictures resembled Scurrula ferruginea too. Kindly have a look on Google search.

Scurrula ferruginea (Roxb. ex Jack) Danser is so far known only from Myanmar, S.China, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The reports of its occurrence in Goa is based on wrong identification.
It is not possible for me to definitely state whether your plant is S. ferruginea or another species.
