Small parasitic shrub with ovate-oblong to oblong leaves, 5-8 cm long, brown-pubescent beneath; flowers in 3-7-flowered racemes which are solitary or 2-3-fascicled; peduncle and flowers with reddish-brown indumentum; calyx turbinate, 2 mm long; corolla greenish-yellow, lobes reflexed, 3 mm long; berry pear-shaped, 6—8 mm long.
Parasitic on trees, photographed from Tiger fall area, Chakrata. Perhaps this needs relook. Could be Taxillus vestitus or any other species. A reply from another thread:

This is again a parasite, shot in May 2012 from Chakrata region.. perhaps again a Scurulla, differs in more tomentose leaves and flowers few …though they were not open at the time, hope to get id.. Could these be berries of Scurrula pulverulenta (Wallich) G. Don???? Yes it seems that the clavate structures are fruits. To me it seems S. pulverulenta as also suggested by … Thank you very much …. for valuable feedback, I mistook the fruits as unopened flowers…will look for this again, I remember the place exactly… Assuming that these fruits are formed after corolla falls off, and looking at the shape of calyx, it may also be Taxillus vestitus or any other species.
