I saw this tall tree of about 15 metres in Valparai area of western ghats.
I cannot take proper picture and have no idea of this Genus. Please help me to identify this tree.
The fruits are about 2cm across. Any possibilities for this to be a Meliaceae?
Location: Estate road-side
Place: Vaalparai, TN
Alt.: 950 m asl
Date: 12 July 2012
Vaalparai has more species reported from Kerala and it is the wettest part of Tamil Nadu.

Please check with Trichilia connaroides (Wight & Arn.) Bentv. of Meliaceae
